Corporate Golf Tournaments, Inc. was established in 1995 to help non-profit charities with all the logistics of organizing a golf tournament.  We have organized over 80 golf tournaments in the past 15 years.  We act as a consultant for your tournament committee to help you reach your financial goals.

 

The first step will be to help you with course selection.  We will help advise you which courses are the most charity friendly to reach your financial goals.  After the course is selected, we will put together a tournament budget of all expenses.  Next we will write a very detailed tournament invitation with various levels of sponsorships.  Most invitations only include a foursome, some corporate sponsorships or the opportunity to purchase a tee sign.  They limit the possibilities available for tournament donors.  Also, it is very important to have an invitation that is professionally printed.

 

We will help create all the tournament printed pieces; including the tournament invitation, letterhead, envelopes, golfers checklist, tournament format, auction donation letters, bid sheets, nametags, mulligans, cart signs, table signs, tee signs, tournament banners, and much more.

 

Next we will create a tournament timeline of all the tasks that need to be completed each month.  We will ask the tournament committee to divide up into tournament sub-committees.  We will guide the sub-committees to achieve the tasks that are specific to them. 

 

Corporate Golf Tournaments has a large list of vendors that are available to make your golf tournament outstanding.  Some will come out on a volunteer basis for the marketing opportunity and some are for hire at reasonable rates.  The vendors that charge for their services we will try to get underwritten.  Some of the vendors that charge for their services include a steel drummer, global leader board, tournament photographer, long drive pro, emcee and auctioneer.  We work with generous restaurants in the area, beverage donors, massage therapists, body balance, a tenor that sings the national anthem, that all donate their services to a great cause.

 

We will take care of all the logistics for the golf tournament.  We own 56 tee signs that are available for your use.  We also own contest signs, canopies, beverage barrels, registration signs that are all available for your use.  We will write up all the volunteer job descriptions, on course set up, work with on course vendors, write the awards banquet speech, write the tournament program, set up the foursomes, e-mail the golfer confirmation letter to vendors and participants, and act as point of contact with the golf course.

 

The services we do not provide for your tournament are as follows.  First of all, we do not get involved with the tournament accounting.  The only money that comes thru Corporate Golf Tournaments are the organizing fees.  You would be responsible for collecting all money from the golfers and sponsors and paying all the vendors.  We do not implement the silent auctions.  Since we work with all the on course logistics, our staff does not attend the cocktail reception.  We would have to appoint a person to be in charge of the cocktail reception and silent auction.  We will create all the printed pieces, but you would be in charge of having a graphic artist design the pieces and having them printed.  We have a graphic artist that you can hire to design all the pieces, if you don’t have someone.
